Regenexx Procedures are highly specialized non-surgical, image-guided injection-based procedures performed only by very specially trained Regenexx Physicians for elbow arthritis, overuse conditions such as tennis elbow or golfer’s elbow, and other conditions that cause elbow pain. These procedures utilize concentrated repair cells that are obtained from your own bone marrow or blood to promote your body’s own natural ability to heal.
If you are experiencing elbow pain, Regenexx Procedures using the healing agents from your own body may be a good treatment option. In recent years, several studies have demonstrated good results of platelet-rich plasma in treating elbow tendon and ligament issues.

The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Lumbar Spine Problems
There are many problems that can occur in the lumbar spine. Some of the more common include arthritis, foraminal stenosis, pinched nerves, disc problems, and spondylolysis. We will review some lumbar spine problems as well as some traditional and interventional orthopedics solutions.
Shoulder Surgery May Not Be the Solution For Your Shoulder Pain
Over any 10 year period, about 15% of us will see a doctor for shoulder pain, and that number climbs as we get older.
Shoulder surgeries are serious business, and if you are considering one, please take the time to read this report. Our goal is to provide information that will help you make the right choice for you.
Six Reasons to Just Say No To Knee Replacement
The idea of undergoing a knee replacement is worrisome enough, but when you really begin to understand what this entails—amputating the knee joint, sawing off the ends of the long bones that connect to the joint, and replacing it all with a fake joint—it can be downright scary.
Top 10 Questions To Ask When Considering A Stem Cell Procedure
Orthopedic stem cell providers are not all created equal. When making the decision to put all of your trust into a stem cell clinic and physician, it’s important that you know the right questions to ask – and just as important that you know whether or not you’re getting the right answers.
The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Cervical Spine Problems
In interventional orthopedics, we recognize that the body is actually one interconnected machine, not a collection of individual parts and pieces. The cervical spine is a crucial piece in our musculoskeletal puzzle.
There are many problems that can occur in the cervical spine. Some of the more common include arthritis, foraminal stenosis, pinched nerves, disc problems, and spondylosis. We will review some cervical spine problems (some of the links in this report will refer to the lumbar spine, but the principles are the same in the cervical spine) as well as some traditional and interventional orthopedics solutions.
The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Hip Labrum Tears
The hip joint is a ball-and-socket structure. The hip labrum is the lip around the socket that the ball of the femur fits into to form the hip joint. It helps stabilize the joint, and it can be traumatically torn, or more commonly, it develops tears over time due to aging.
Surgeons like to go in and surgically reshape all of this, cut off the bone spurs, and cut out or rebuild the torn pieces of the labrum, while in interventional orthopedics our focus is on nonsurgically treating not just the hip but the whole musculoskeletal system.
While there are many problems that can occur in the hips, this report will focus on the differences in the surgical and interventional orthopedics approaches to hip labrum tears.
What is PRP?
You’ve probably heard about platelet rich plasma (PRP). PRP applies to a variety of similar, but different, preparations made from blood platelets. Platelets are little packets of growth factors and other natural healing molecules that help clot your blood. If you get a paper cut, platelets not only stop the bleeding but also release healing growth factors to help get local cells on the right course to heal the skin.

The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Foot and Ankle Problems
Our feet and ankles don’t often get the attention they deserve, yet they are a crucial piece in our musculoskeletal puzzle. Not only do they hold and balance our entire body weight, but they are also the body’s first line of shock absorption as our feet make contact with the ground below.
Download this report to learn why Regenexx Procedures may offer the best solution to address your current pain related to a foot or ankle injury or degenerative condition.
The Source of Your Stem Cells Makes A Big Difference
Bone marrow aspiration harvests bone marrow stem cells, while liposuction harvests fat stem cells. When considering stem cell procedures in orthopedics, you have to ask these questions: Which stem cells are best supported by the data?
Which stem cells are the most effective at repairing and healing bone and cartilage?
Which stem cells best treat arthritis?
Which procedure is less invasive and safer?
Orthopedics 2.0

- Available as a Free PDF download below, or as a Kindle Book from Amazon – It’s a #1 Best Seller!
Written by Dr. Chris Centeno, this e-book delves into the human musculoskeletal system and explains how everything works together in concert to maintain our physical wellbeing. When a single component in this chain is damaged, it can lead to a cascade of joint, spine and connective tissue problems, resulting in chronic pain.
Using the Regenexx SANS approach, Orthopedics 2.0 walks you through a series of tests and exercises that you can do on your own to better understand where your own body is struggling to maintain proper stability and alignment, explaining the possible reasons and long term implications along the way. Orthopedics 2.0 also explores how Regenexx is pioneering the new field of Interventional Orthopedics, where the use of regenerative biologic treatments, such as adult bone marrow concentrate and platelet rich plasma, are being used to help repair and strengthen damaged tissues, as opposed to invasive surgeries that often remove important tissues when a joint or the spine becomes damaged.
With hyperlinks to more detailed information, related studies and commentary, this book condenses a vast amount of data and resources into an enjoyable and entertaining read. This is the fourth edition of Orthopedics 2.0 with even more content and graphics.
Why Knee and Hip Replacement May Not Be All It’s Cracked up to Be
Knee and hip replacement surgeries come with many risks and complications. Several years ago we queried the National Sampling System for Medicare and found that in the year 2008 alone, there were 17,500 serious complications related to knee replacement surgery resulting in 5,000 patient deaths.
If joint replacement is something you are considering, please take the time to read this report. These 10 facts come from the Regenexx website. Our goal is to provide information that will help you make the right choice for you.
Should I have Meniscus Surgery?
Meniscus surgery is a bad idea, and we’ve put together five reasons you shouldn’t have it.
The big misconception is that the meniscus tears seen on the MRI are linked in some way to that knee pain. But the truth is, just as many middle-aged people who don’t have any knee pain or problems, have meniscus tears. Despite this and the fact that we have no solid scientific evidence that the surgery actually works, meniscus surgery is of the most common procedures performed in the United States with over 700,000 performed each year.
In fact, not only is the scientific evidence to support this surgery lacking, it points in the opposite direction.
How to Choose the Right Stem Cell Clinic
We have an epidemic of stem cell scams out there. Fake or dead cells, poorly done procedures, and providers who just took a weekend course and are making you their first Guinea pig. So how can you make sure that you get something real and not a fake and bake? Read on.
Nutrition 2.0
Nutrition 2.0 is a concise guide to eating and living healthy, written by Regenexx regenerative medicine doctor, John Pitts. The book gives a basic foundation of information on mostly diet, but also supplements, physical activity, and stress-relief to improve your life. It explains complex topics in simple terms. The book reveals the negative effects of sugar and high glycemic index carbohydrates and differentiates between “good” and “bad” sources of protein and fats. This book also dispels common nutrition myths, discusses some common supplements, and gives practical advice on how to obtain an appropriate amount of physical activity.
Following the suggestions given in the guide can help you feel and look younger, prevent and supplement treatment of chronic diseases, maintain an active lifestyle, plus help you lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off. This guide is not a magic formula or quick fix program that will suddenly cure all your ailments. Nutrition 2.0 teaches you simple measures that you can implement into your daily life that require some adjustment, commitment, and dedication, but will provide a lifetime of results.
The Knee Owner’s Manual
This e-book by Dr. Chris Centeno examines the knee and its role within the human musculoskeletal system and the body as a whole. Using the Regenexx SANS approach, The Knee Owner’s Manual provides a series of tests and clearly defined exercises that you can do on your own to measure and monitor your own knee health. It will allow you to investigate where your own body might be struggling to maintain proper stability, articulation, symmetry, and neuromuscular function and will help you make the connections between these deficiencies in other parts of the body and the knee. The Knee Owner’s Manual also explores how Regenexx is pioneering the new field of interventional orthopedics, where the use of regenerative biologic treatments, such as adult bone marrow concentrate and platelet rich plasma, are being used to help repair and strengthen damaged tissues not only in the knee but in the entire musculoskeletal system. This is contrasted with invasive knee surgeries, which often remove important tissues or replace the entire knee itself when it becomes damaged. With hyperlinks to more detailed information, related studies, and commentary, this book condenses a vast amount of data, images, and resources into an enjoyable and informative read. This is the first edition of The Knee Owner’s Manual, a companion book to Orthopedics 2.0.
The Spine Owner’s Manual
Written by Dr. Chris Centeno, this e-book delves into the spine and how it functions within the human musculoskeletal system and the body as a whole. Everything within the body works together, like a precisely tuned symphony, to support our well-being, and a healthy spine and all of its component parts (e.g., spinal nerves, ligaments, muscles, etc.) are critical to full-body health. When a single component in the spinal chain is damaged, it can lead to a cascade of problems not only in the musculoskeletal system but throughout the body and even further spinal damage when it goes untreated. The result is chronic pain anywhere in the body that with the proper diagnostic approach can be traced back to the damage in the spine.
Using the Regenexx SANS approach, The Spine Owner’s Manual provides a series of tests and clearly defined exercises that you can do on your own to measure and monitor your own spinal health. It will allow you to investigate where your own body might be struggling to maintain proper stability, articulation, symmetry, and neuromuscular function and will help you make the connections between these deficiencies in other parts of the body and the spine.
The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Wrist And Hand Problems
You don’t think about how important your wrists, hands, and thumbs are until there’s a problem and suddenly you can’t write, carry things, or type without pain. Or maybe you can still do all these things, but you’re realizing that it’s more of a struggle and it gets more painful every time you do them.
Download this report and learn why Regenexx blood platelet procedures are backed by research that shows interventional regenerative medicine treatment options promoting your own body’s natural ability to heal can often be a smart alternative to treating hand, wrist, and thumb pain via surgery.
Shoulder 2.0
Written by regenerative medicine expert, Chris Centeno, M.D., Shoulder 2.0 delves deep into the workings and complexity of the shoulder. He shares the details of how the world of shoulder surgery will be upended by a new medical specialty called Interventional Orthopedics. This book focuses on each part of the shoulder, complex as it is interconnected to the whole, and on the shift of surgical salvage to the interventional orthopedic approach of shoulder repair.
Using the Regenexx SANS approach, Shoulder 2.0 walks you through a series of tests you can do on your own to better understand where your body is struggling to maintain proper alignment and stability, explaining the possible reasons and long term implications along the way. Shoulder 2.0 explores how Regenexx is further advancing the field of Interventional Orthopedics they helped to invent, where the uses of regenerative orthopedics such as bone marrow concentrate source of stem cells and platelet rich plasma are used to help the body repair and strengthen damaged tissues, opposed to invasive surgeries that often remove important tissues of the shoulder.
Shoulder 2.0: How You Can Avoid Invasive Shoulder Surgery, is in its first edition and is part of the Regenexx book series that addresses nonsurgical solutions to musculoskeletal pain, nutrition, and aging gracefully.
The Top 10 Causes of Cartilage Loss
Cartilage is a connective tissue that protects our joints by acting as a cushion between the bones and absorbing shock. Arthritis occurs when the cartilage in the joint (e.g., knee, hip, shoulder, etc.) breaks down.
Understanding what causes cartilage loss in the first place is the key to understanding how you can keep more cartilage as you age. Regenexx has compiled the top 10 causes of cartilage loss along with some solutions to help prevent it.
The Interventional Orthopedics Solution For Elbow Problems
The elbow is a critical joint in the musculoskeletal system. It doesn’t have to bear weight, like a knee or ankle does; however, think of all the things you wouldn’t be able to do if you couldn’t bend your arm: button your shirt, drive a car, pick up a baby, and so on. Elbow injuries are well known in many sports participants, including tennis, golf, and other sports that create stress on this joint. Experiencing pain or inflammation in this important joint can make it difficult to perform many standard daily activities.
Download this report and learn how the concept of using the healing agents from your own body with Regenexx blood platelet procedures is backed by research that demonstrates that Interventional Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine treatment options may be a smart alternative to treating elbow pain via surgery in a majority of circumstances.
Regenexx ProActive
As we grow older, our body begins to send us warning messages. When these messages are ignored, small musculoskeletal problems can compound until they leave us sidelined from the activities we love. When such issues are left untreated, they can ultimately lead to more chronic conditions and may permanently reset what we consider to be our normal level of fitness, performance, and activity. This is why some people in their seventies can run a marathon while others in their fifties can barely walk a mile.
The Regenexx ProActive program provides practical advice on understanding these warning signs and taking action to maintain peak performance through middle-age and beyond. ProActive explains how the use of regenerative orthopedic treatments can help the body return joints and the spine to a healthy state before things go awry ensuring that small problems don’t go from bad to worse.

How Regenexx Procedures Work
Regenexx-SD is Bone Marrow Concentrate. These repair cells from your own body live inside all of us in various tissues, poised to leap into action to repair damage as it occurs. As we age or have big injuries, we may not be able to recruit enough of these cells to the site to fully repair the area. The Regenexx-SD Procedure helps overcome this problem by harvesting Bone Marrow from an area of the back of the hip that contains a dense population of these important cells and then concentrating those cells before precisely injecting them into the injured area using advanced imaging guidance. The goal of the procedure is to reduce pain and improve function by promoting the body’s own ability to heal naturally. This Patented Bone Marrow Concentrate Protocol can be used for a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Your Regenexx doctor will evaluate your condition and your imaging to determine whether a bone marrow concentrate or platelet-based treatment is the best option for your orthopedic condition.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet Lysate are Platelet procedures that contain healing growth factors from your own blood that promote your body’s natural ability to repair itself. The use of PRP to treat joint, tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries is becoming well known, thanks to exposure from professional athletes. Platelet injections have a stimulating effect on the repair cells within the targeted area, making those cells work harder to perform their natural job of healing the body. Like all Regenexx procedures, Regenexx SCP procedures are performed with high-level imaging guidance to ensure the most accurate placements of cells into the desired area. Our Advanced Platelet Procedures are more concentrated and purer than PRP created by the automated machines used at most regenerative medicine clinics, increasing its ability to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Platelet procedures are commonly used for soft tissue injuries, mild arthritis, spine conditions, and around nerves.
